Trying to embed newline in a variable in bash Stack Overflow
I'm trying to update my bashrc file in ubuntu with some environment variables. I can do this using below command. echo 'export APP=/opt/tinyos-2.x/apps' >> ~/.bashrc... As you can see there is a new line added. How can my bash script insert the line? I'm guessing I will need to use sed. How can my bash script insert the line? I'm guessing I will need to use sed.
